Nostalgia is Good for You

An August 11, 2009 blog in Psychology Today has stated the obvious:  Nostalgia Is Good Medicine.

According to Clay Routledge, Ph.D., nostalgia promotes psychological well-being and fosters feelings of belongingness. It also increases self-esteem and perceptions of meaning in life.

Dr Routledge continues: So next time you feel a little down and alone, try nostalgia. It may be just what the doctor ordered. [Your station manager continues: Amen!]

So kick off your shoes, slide into your favorite chair and "dial" your laptop to  You'll feel better.
